Starting in April, anyone can come and pick up a tree (suggested donation: $1.00) to plant in their yard for Earth Month. We are partnering with an organization called Trees for the Future, which helps families in sub-Saharan Africa plant trees and build “forest gardens” for food and income. Trees are important everywhere, so as we plant our own trees here in Marshall County, we want to help families in drought-stricken countries overseas do the same thing.
